Objective versus Subjective Reality
See, there's this thing called biology...
Doobster over at Mindful Digressions did a thoughtful post on objective morality. It’s a frequent and common topic, is there such a thing as objective morality? Christians, especially the kind well versed in the Greeks, will sometimes argue that there is such a thing as objective morality and it comes from God. Atheists tend to believe that humans either evolved into morality or else came into agreement over it based on societal consensus.
We need to back up for a moment to properly explore this issue. First of all, objective reality, what is it? Being all about the Alice in Wonderland logic, I don’t really “believe” in objective reality on account of the fact that we all reside in subjective reality. We’re trapped there, actually.
